Biography: Jin Kuijuan, Professor at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Academician of CAS and Academician of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS). Her research focuses on light-matter interactions. From 2009 to 2017, she served as Director of the CAS Key Laboratory for Optical Physics and Chairperson of the Optical Physics Committee of the Chinese Physical Society.

She was honored with the National Outstanding Scientific Worker Award and Medal. In 2011, she was elected Fellow of the Institute of Physics (IOP Fellow) and received the Xie Xide Physics Award from the Chinese Physical Society. In 2012, she became Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS Fellow). Since 2015, she has chaired the Women Physics Committee of the Chinese Physical Society. In 2021 and 2024, she was consecutively elected Vice President (at Large) of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP).
